Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, is an urban community within the Cape Breton regional municipality. It is located on the north side of Sydney Harbour, 19km from Sydney. The town has a vibrant downtown shopping area with grocery stores, pharmacy, bakery, banks, restaurants, service stations, town police and library.
