Carboniferous Plant Fossils

The Cape Breton Fossil Centre has 800 Carboniferous plant fossils on site:
142 Fossils are on loan from the Nova Scotia Provincial Collection.
658 Fossils make up the Cape Breton Fossil Centre Collection.
These fossils come from abandoned strip mining sites, abandoned coal mining sites, and from along the beaches in the Sydney Coal Field area. Some people have donated fossils to the Fossil Centre. All fossils have been documented and numbered.
